While they are optimized for the high-speed demands of gravity and downhill racing, they are robust enough for aggressive enduro riding. If you prioritize durability and impact resistance over weight savings, these are an excellent choice for rough, technical terrain.

These wheels are tubeless-ready and compatible with most standard mountain bike tires. Because of the protective rim strip, you can experiment with lower pressures, so ensure your tire casing is sturdy enough to handle the extra deformation during hard cornering.

This specific wheelset is built with Chris King ISO 6-bolt hubs. Please note that the axle spacing is 15x100mm for the front and 12x142mm for the rear, so verify that your frame and fork are compatible with these non-Boost standards before purchasing.

The wheels come with an XD freehub body, which is designed for SRAM 11- and 12-speed cassettes. Chris King hubs are modular, so you can typically purchase a different freehub body separately if you need to switch to Shimano HG or Micro Spline standards.
