Dyson DC15 Brush Roller

This roller is designed exclusively for DC15 models that originally came equipped with a gray-colored brush bar. Before purchasing, check your current vacuum head; if your existing roller is black, this part will not fit your machine.

It is compatible with the standard DC15, as well as the DC15 All Floors, Animal, Full Kit, HSN Exclusive, and Total Clean variants, provided they utilize the gray roller configuration.

Replacing a worn brush roller primarily restores agitation performance, which helps loosen dirt and debris from carpet fibers. While it won't increase the motor's suction power, it will significantly improve how effectively your vacuum cleans floor surfaces.

Installation is straightforward and designed for quick maintenance. You generally only need basic tools to access the cleaning head and swap out the old roller for the new one.

There is no set schedule, but you should inspect the roller if you notice visible wear on the bristles, if the roller stops spinning freely, or if the vacuum is no longer picking up debris as effectively as it once did.
