Arenga fibre is a natural, stiff material that excels at moving heavier debris like leaves, twigs, and gravel. Unlike synthetic bristles, which can soften or degrade in direct sunlight, arenga fibre maintains its structural integrity and stiffness, making it more durable for rough outdoor surfaces.

The oil treatment provides a protective barrier against moisture and helps prevent the wood from drying out or cracking. While it is durable, we recommend storing the broom in a dry, covered area when not in use to maintain the wood's longevity.

The 22-inch short handle is ideal for tight spaces, stairs, or quick cleanups on porches where you need more control. The 48-inch long handle is designed for standard upright sweeping, allowing you to cover larger patio areas comfortably without bending over.

Because this broom is handcrafted using natural fibres, you may notice a small amount of shedding during the first few uses as the bristles settle. This is normal and will subside quickly as the broom breaks in.

To keep the broom in top shape, simply tap the bristles against a hard surface after use to dislodge trapped debris. If the bristles become excessively dirty, you can rinse them with water and hang the broom upside down to dry completely.
