These fins are specifically designed for wide-tail fish shapes and hybrid boards. The split keel template is engineered to provide stability and drive on boards with significant volume in the tail, making them a great choice for grovelers in smaller surf.

This combination creates a medium flex pattern that feels balanced underfoot. It provides enough stiffness to maintain speed and stability through turns, while still offering the lively, responsive feel that helps with quick, skatey maneuvers.

The large surface area is designed to help you generate and hold speed, especially in weaker, smaller waves. It gives you the drive and projection typically associated with a twin keel, but with the added control and release of a quad setup.

These fins are designed specifically for the Futures fin system. If your board has Futures boxes, they will fit perfectly; they are not compatible with FCS or other fin box systems.

Futures uses the Ride Number to categorize flex and feel. An 8.3 indicates that these fins lean toward the 'speed generating' side of the spectrum, meaning they are built to help you create momentum and maintain flow in slower, mushier conditions.
