The Impulse TI is built for intermediate to advanced resort skiers who want a single, reliable ski that can handle everything from groomed runs to variable off-piste conditions. It strikes a balance between stability at speed and maneuverability in tighter terrain.

The Titanal layer adds significant dampness and stability to the ski. It helps absorb vibrations and chatter when you are skiing at higher speeds or on firmer, icy snow, giving you a much smoother and more planted feel.

While 98mm is excellent for variable resort conditions and mixed snow, it is not a dedicated powder ski. The rockered tip and tail help with float in softer snow, but if you primarily ski deep backcountry powder, you might prefer a wider option.

The traditional camber underfoot provides the necessary edge grip and power transfer for carving on groomed runs. The rockered tip and tail mainly come into play during turn initiation and when you need to pivot quickly in softer snow or tight glades.

Not at all. Despite the stability provided by the Titanal, the poplar wood core keeps the ski energetic and responsive. The rockered profile makes it easy to initiate turns quickly, which is exactly what you want when navigating tight glades or steep chutes.
