Celestron Telescope Bag

This bag is specifically engineered for 11-inch optical tubes. While other gear might physically fit, the internal dimensions and padding are optimized for the specific shape and size of that equipment, so we recommend verifying your telescope's dimensions against the bag's specs before purchasing.

The 16mm EPE foam is designed to absorb shock and prevent damage from minor bumps or vibrations during transport. It creates a soft, cushioned barrier, but it is not a hard-shell case, so it should not be used for checked airline luggage or extreme impact scenarios.

The bag features a durable exterior designed to protect your optics from dust and light moisture. However, it is a soft-sided case, so it is not fully waterproof and should not be left out in heavy rain or standing water.

The integrated shoulder strap is designed for hands-free transport, making it much easier to move your gear to remote observing sites. At 3.8 pounds empty, the bag itself is lightweight, though the total weight will depend heavily on the telescope you are carrying.

The primary design focus of this bag is the protection of the optical tube itself. It features a main compartment with reinforced padding, but it does not include dedicated external or internal pockets for smaller accessories like eyepieces, filters, or cables.
