The mat includes a Schnozzel pumpbag, which is the most efficient way to inflate it. While the mat is self-inflating to a degree, using the pumpbag allows you to top it off to your preferred firmness quickly.

No, the top surface is made from a soft, recycled stretch tricot polyester. It has a fabric-like, skin-friendly feel that is much quieter and more comfortable than the slick, crinkly nylon found on many ultralight pads.
