Head Kore X

These skis are designed for intermediate skiers who have mastered the basics and are looking to progress. While they are approachable, they offer a level of responsiveness that is best utilized by someone who has already developed fundamental turning and control skills.

Thanks to their sandwich sidewall construction and reliable edge hold, the Kore X 80 performs well on groomed runs and firmer snow. While they aren't dedicated race skis, they provide the stability needed to feel confident when conditions get firm.

The included system bindings are GripWalk compatible, which is the current industry standard. They will work with most modern alpine boots, but you should check that your specific boot soles are GripWalk or ISO 5355 alpine compliant before heading out.

The Kore X 80 is primarily an all-mountain ski built for groomed terrain and varied conditions, with a 77mm waist that is quite narrow for deep powder. They will handle light, fresh snow just fine, but they aren't designed for flotation in deep, soft backcountry conditions.

The Allride Rocker combines a rockered tip with camber underfoot. This makes initiating turns much easier and smoother, while the camber section ensures you still have solid grip and stability once the ski is engaged in the turn.

The construction is designed to balance weight reduction with performance, so they feel nimble and easy to maneuver. While they are stable at moderate speeds, they are not intended for high-speed charging; they are best suited for cruising comfortably across the mountain.
