While this bowl is crafted from natural juniper wood, it is primarily designed as a decorative piece or for dry storage. We recommend using it for wrapped goods, fruit, or as a centerpiece rather than for direct contact with wet or oily foods.

To preserve the wood, wipe the bowl down with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid submerging it in water or using a dishwasher, as this can cause the wood to warp or crack. Periodically applying a food-safe mineral oil will help keep the grain hydrated and protected.

Because each bowl is hand-turned from authentic juniper, every piece features unique grain patterns, knots, and color variations. You can expect your bowl to have its own distinct character that reflects the natural history of the wood.

The lid is custom-fitted to the bowl for a clean, cohesive look. While it sits securely on top, it is not an airtight seal, making it best suited for display or storing items that do not require an airtight environment.
