FCS II Accelerator

The Accelerator template is designed for surfers who prioritize aggressive, powerful turns. Its fuller tip and oversized shape provide the extra hold and control needed when you are pushing hard through critical sections of a wave.

The carbon layup creates a specific '3D twist and roll' action. This allows the fin to load up energy during a turn and release it with a snappy, responsive feel, giving you more drive than standard fiberglass or composite fins.

These fins use the FCS II system, which is designed for tool-less installation. They are compatible with any surfboard that has FCS II fin boxes, though they can also be used in original FCS dual-plug boxes if you use the provided grub screws.

While these fins excel in critical, overhead conditions, they can feel a bit stiff in smaller, weaker surf. If you primarily ride smaller waves, you might find a more pivot-oriented template like the Performer or Reactor series to be more lively.

The 145-175 lbs range is a guideline based on the fin's flex pattern and surface area. If you are slightly outside this range, you can still ride them, but you may find the fin feels either too rigid or too loose depending on your personal power and board volume.
