Dimension Compass Bell

The Compass Bell is designed for a 21.8mm clamp diameter, which is standard for many road and hybrid bike handlebars. It will not fit oversized 31.8mm or 35mm mountain bike bars unless you mount it on a narrower section of the bar, such as near the grips.

While the 40mm size is compact and unobtrusive, it produces a clear, distinct ring suitable for alerting pedestrians and other cyclists on shared paths. However, in heavy, noisy urban traffic, you may find it less effective than a larger, more resonant bell.

Installation is straightforward and typically requires only a standard hex key to tighten the clamp onto your handlebar. It is designed for a quick, secure fit that won't rotate while you are riding.

The clamp is designed for standard, straight handlebar sections. Mounting it on the curved or tapered sections of drop bars may prevent the clamp from tightening securely, so it is best to install it on the flat, straight portion of your handlebars.
