ENVE Foundation AM30 Disc Rim

The AM30 is built for aggressive trail and all-mountain riding, making it more than capable of handling enduro-style terrain. While it isn't designed as an ultra-lightweight race rim, its focus on durability and impact resistance makes it a reliable choice for riders who prioritize strength and handling over shaving every possible gram.

The 30mm internal width is optimized for modern mountain bike tires ranging from 2.3 inches to 2.6 inches. This width provides a stable, supportive platform that prevents tire squirm when cornering at lower pressures.

The 3mm offset drilling is designed to balance spoke tension between the drive side and non-drive side of the wheel. This results in a stronger, more durable wheel build that is less prone to going out of true over time.

While the rim features a hookless tubeless profile specifically optimized for tubeless setups and lower pressures, it is compatible with tubes if necessary. However, to get the intended ride quality and puncture protection, we strongly recommend setting them up tubeless.

The shallower 20mm depth is intentional; it provides a degree of vertical compliance that helps absorb trail chatter and impacts. This makes the ride feel less harsh compared to deeper, stiffer carbon rims, which is a significant advantage on long, rough descents.
