While the Rustler is designed as a freeride ski, its 96mm waist and partial Titanal construction provide excellent edge hold on groomed runs. It is a great choice if you want a ski that can handle firm snow in the morning but still perform well when you venture into softer snow or bumps later in the day.

The Trueblend core uses specific densities of wood—beech, poplar, and paulownia—placed strategically throughout the ski. This creates a balanced flex pattern that is stiffer underfoot for stability and power, while remaining softer in the tip and tail for easier turn initiation and a more playful feel.

The Rustler is specifically targeted at advanced to expert skiers. Because of its construction and responsiveness, it requires a confident skier who can drive the ski aggressively; an intermediate skier might find it demanding or less forgiving than a dedicated beginner-to-intermediate model.

The ski is compatible with most standard alpine bindings, but it is specifically designed to pair well with the Marker Royal Family. You will need a binding with at least a 100mm brake width to accommodate the 96mm waist.

The combination of a rockered tip and tail with camber underfoot is ideal for variable terrain. The rocker helps the ski float and pivot easily in choppy or soft snow, while the camber underfoot ensures you maintain solid edge contact and stability when you hit icy patches or hardpack.
