The MODE wheel features a deep offset bearing seat, which provides extra axle coverage essential for rail stands and other technical freestyle maneuvers. Combined with a 95A durometer, it offers more grip and stability than the harder, narrower wheels typically used for street skating.

While 95A is softer than the typical 99A or 101A street wheel, it is still firm enough to break into slides when you need it to. It prioritizes grip and control for technical footwork, but you will still be able to perform slides with the right technique.

The narrowed contact patch reduces friction against the ground, making the wheels feel more responsive and agile. This allows for quicker turns and snappier transitions, which is ideal for the rapid, precise movements required in freestyle skating.

These are purpose-built for freestyle tricks and technical maneuvers. While you can technically ride them anywhere, the 55mm diameter and freestyle-specific shape are optimized for flat-ground tricks rather than absorbing rough pavement or cruising long distances.
