Magne-Traction creates multiple contact points along the edge of the board, similar to a serrated knife. This significantly improves grip on hard-packed snow and ice, giving you more confidence and control where a traditional smooth edge might slip.

With a medium flex rating and a hybrid C2X camber profile, this board is approachable for an intermediate rider looking to progress, but it might be a bit demanding for a complete beginner. It offers enough stability for learning but provides the responsiveness needed as you start riding faster and more aggressively.

The sintered base is designed for speed and durability, but it does perform best when kept waxed. To maintain its glide and prevent the material from drying out, you should apply a fresh coat of wax every few times you ride, especially in warmer or spring conditions.
