The bed is crafted from premium sustainable hardwoods. Because it is handcrafted by Amish artisans, the specific wood species can be customized to suit your preference and existing bedroom decor.

The drawers are built with traditional dovetail joinery for strength and feature full-extension slides. This allows the drawers to pull out completely, giving you easy access to the full depth of the storage space.

While the bed is designed to support a mattress, the need for a box spring depends on your mattress type and preferred height. We recommend checking your mattress manufacturer's guidelines, as the bed's solid wood platform provides a sturdy base for most modern mattresses.

The headboard stands 60 inches tall and the footboard is 20 inches tall. Because of the classic curved sleigh silhouette, you should ensure you have enough floor space to account for the curve of the headboard and footboard, which extends slightly beyond the mattress footprint.

Assembly is required, but the process is straightforward. Because the bed features solid wood construction, the components are heavy, so we recommend having two people assist with the setup to ensure safety and proper alignment.
