This stem is designed for a standard 1 1/8-inch threadless steerer tube, which is the most common size found on modern road and mountain bikes. If your bike uses this standard, it will be a direct fit.

Not at all, but it does require a bit of patience. The four-bolt design distributes clamping force evenly across the handlebar, so you should tighten the bolts in a cross-pattern—similar to tightening lug nuts on a car wheel—to ensure the pressure is balanced.

While it is a popular choice for road and gravel setups, the 3D forged construction is robust enough for light trail riding. However, if you are doing aggressive downhill or enduro riding, you may want to look for a stem specifically reinforced for those disciplines.
