Yes. These bindings are exclusively compatible with boots featuring the Burton Step On system. You cannot use standard strap-in snowboard boots with this setup.

With a flex rating of 8, these are quite stiff. They offer the same high-level response and power transfer you would expect from a premium, aggressive traditional binding, making them ideal for high-speed carving and technical terrain.

The Atlas Step On is compatible with standard 2x4 mounting patterns and The Channel system. They will fit the vast majority of modern snowboards on the market.

The system is designed to shed snow effectively, so it performs reliably in most conditions. However, it is always good practice to clear any packed snow or ice from the connection points before stepping in to ensure a secure lock.

These are designed for intermediate to advanced riders. The stiff flex provides excellent control, but it can be unforgiving for beginners who are still learning to manage their board's response.

Union offers a limited lifetime warranty on the baseplates and heelcups. All other parts, including the Step On mechanism components, are covered by a one-year warranty.
