These fins are designed for open-face, powerful waves and point-breaks. Their rake template and stiff fiberglass construction provide the stability and drive needed to hold a line through long, drawn-out turns in more demanding conditions.

The solid fiberglass construction makes these fins very stiff and stable. Unlike more flexible materials, this stiffness provides a predictable, reliable feel that won't flex out when you are pushing hard through a turn.

This medium-sized set is designed for surfers weighing between 125 and 175 pounds. If you fall within this range, you will get the intended performance characteristics, but those outside this range may find the fins feel either too stiff or too loose.

Futures uses a Ride Number scale from 1 to 10 to categorize fin performance, where 1 is solid and stable, and 10 is lively and responsive. A 2.9 rating indicates these are very stable, controlled fins that prioritize hold over release.

These fins are designed specifically for the Futures fin system. As long as your surfboard has Futures fin boxes, they will be compatible.
