Not quite. This board is designed for intermediate to advanced youth riders. Its directional shape and 5/10 flex are built for progression and performance, which can be less forgiving for someone just learning the basics.

The Directional Camber profile is excellent for all-mountain versatility. It provides the stability and edge hold you need for carving on groomed runs, while the directional shape helps the nose float naturally in deeper, softer snow.

The sintered WFO base is high-density and porous, meaning it absorbs wax deeply to keep you moving fast. To keep it performing at its best, you will need to wax it regularly compared to a lower-maintenance extruded base.

This board uses Burton's 'The Channel' mounting system. While it is compatible with most major binding brands, you will need to ensure your bindings include the appropriate mounting hardware or discs that are compatible with The Channel system.

Pro-Tip tapers the thickness of the tip and tail, which reduces the swing weight of the board. This makes it easier for younger riders to initiate turns and maneuver the board in the air without feeling like they are dragging extra weight.
