The Ride Number is a scale used by Futures to describe the feel of a fin. A 3.0 rating sits on the 'Control' end of the spectrum, meaning these fins are engineered to provide maximum stability and hold, rather than a loose or lively feel. They are best suited for surfers who want to feel locked in during turns.

These fins use the Futures fin system, which is a single-screw box design. If your surfboard has Futures boxes, these will fit perfectly. They will not work with FCS or FCS II fin boxes.

While they are high-quality, the stiff fiberglass construction and 'Control' focus are generally better suited for intermediate to advanced surfers.
