The Twin + 1 setup gives you the speed and loose, skatey feel of a twin fin, but the smaller stabilizer fin adds just enough control and pivot to keep you from sliding out during harder turns. It is a great middle ground if you want more drive than a twin but more freedom than a traditional thruster.

These fins use the Futures fin system. If your surfboard has Futures boxes, they will fit perfectly. They are not compatible with FCS or other fin box systems.

Because they are designed for speed and drive, they excel in average to good conditions where you want to generate your own momentum. They are particularly effective on boards with a bit more volume or width, helping you maintain speed through flatter sections.

The honeycomb construction keeps the fins lightweight while maintaining a medium flex pattern. This balance helps the fins feel responsive and snappy underfoot without being overly stiff or twitchy.

While these are high-performance fins, they are generally best for intermediate to advanced surfers who have developed enough board control to appreciate the loose, fast characteristics of a twin-fin setup. Beginners usually benefit more from the stability of a standard thruster setup.

The XL size indicates these fins have a larger surface area, providing more hold and drive. They are ideal for larger surfers or for those riding boards that need extra surface area to generate lift and speed.
