It is completely ready to play right out of the box. The stick comes pre-strung with a mesh pocket, so you can head straight to the field without needing to adjust the head or stringing.

This stick is specifically engineered for beginners. It features a balanced design that helps new players focus on learning fundamental skills like cradling, passing, and catching without the distraction of complex gear.

While the stick is ready for immediate use, the mesh pocket will naturally soften and become more responsive the more you use it. We recommend spending some time playing catch to help the mesh settle into a pocket shape that works best for your throwing style.

The Charger is built with durable materials meant to withstand the wear and tear of learning the game. It is designed to provide consistent performance during practice sessions and early game play, so it can handle the inevitable drops and ground ball drills.

The factory stringing is excellent for learning the basics. As you advance and develop specific preferences for how the ball releases from your stick, you may eventually want to customize the stringing, but it is not necessary for the first year or two of play.
