While it is a high-performance board, it is designed for intermediate to expert riders. If you are comfortable on a standard snowboard in varied terrain and have basic backcountry safety knowledge, the Solution is predictable and stable enough to help you progress, but it is not an entry-level board.

The directional rocker provides excellent float in deep snow by keeping the nose up, while the camber underfoot ensures you have enough edge hold and stability when navigating firm or icy skin tracks on the way up.

The 3D Contour Base features spoon-shaped bevels at the tip and tail, which helps reduce edge catch and makes turn initiation smoother. It essentially makes the board feel less 'hooky' in variable snow, allowing for a more fluid ride.

Not at all. While the carbon-flax stringers add significant snap and responsiveness, they also help dampen vibrations. It creates a lively, energetic feel without the harsh, chattery ride often associated with stiffer carbon-only constructions.

You can absolutely ride it at the resort. Because it features a directional shape and high-quality sintered base, it performs like a standard freeride board on groomed runs, though it is optimized for the backcountry.

It is one of the fastest and most durable bases available. It holds wax exceptionally well and is designed to withstand the abuse of backcountry travel, though you should still be mindful of rocks and hidden obstacles.
