Volkl Leather Grip

This is a replacement grip. It is designed to be applied directly to the racquet handle after removing the original grip, rather than wrapped over an existing one.

Leather grips offer a much firmer, more direct feel. You will feel the bevels of the racquet handle more clearly, which helps with grip changes and provides superior feedback compared to the softer, more cushioned feel of synthetic options.

Leather is denser than synthetic materials, so it will add slightly more weight to the handle. This can be a benefit if you are looking to shift the balance of your racquet slightly toward the handle.

While it features a slightly tacky surface, leather is not as absorbent as synthetic grips. If you tend to have very sweaty hands, you may want to pair this with an overgrip to maintain traction.

It is straightforward. The grip features an adhesive backing that helps keep it in place while you wrap it, but because leather is less stretchy than synthetic material, you need to pull it taut and overlap it carefully to ensure a smooth, consistent finish.
