These pads are specifically designed for the Kask Protone Icon model. While they may share some similarities with the original Protone, they are engineered for the specific contours and attachment points of the Icon version, so we recommend using them only with the intended model.

It depends on your riding frequency and climate, but generally, you should replace them once they lose their shape, become compressed, or no longer effectively manage sweat. If you ride regularly in hot conditions, replacing them once a season helps maintain hygiene and comfort.

Installation is straightforward. The pads typically attach via hook-and-loop fasteners or specific snap-in points inside the helmet shell. Simply peel out the old set, clean any residue from the interior, and press the new pads firmly into place, aligning them with the existing attachment points.

You can certainly wash your pads to extend their life, and we recommend doing so regularly with mild soap and water. However, eventually, the foam will degrade and lose its cushioning properties, at which point a replacement set is necessary to restore the helmet's original fit and comfort.
