Bark Commander

The Bark Commander is a specialized prone paddleboard designed specifically for endurance training and ocean racing. Because of its narrow 21.1-inch width and performance-focused design, it is best suited for experienced paddlers who are comfortable with high-performance, unstable equipment.

The Leg-Lock recessed cockpit lowers your center of gravity, which significantly improves stability when the water gets choppy. This design allows you to lock your legs in for better leverage and control, making it easier to maintain your stroke rhythm in varied ocean conditions.

The integrated chest ramp is designed to improve your paddling posture by elevating your upper body, which helps maintain an efficient stroke angle. By promoting a more ergonomic position, it reduces strain on your lower back and shoulders, helping you stay comfortable during long-distance sessions.

Fusion V-Tech is engineered to balance weight and durability, creating a board that is lightweight for speed but robust enough to handle the rigors of competitive racing. While it is built to be tough, like all high-performance composite boards, it should be handled with care to avoid impact damage.

The board comes with an FCS Connect fin setup, which is a standard, reliable system for prone boards. You can swap it out for other fins compatible with the FCS Connect box if you want to experiment with different tracking or maneuverability profiles.

The 300-pound capacity indicates the maximum buoyancy the board can support while maintaining performance. However, for optimal speed and efficiency in racing conditions, most paddlers will find the board performs best when they are well under that limit, allowing the board to sit at its intended waterline.
