Bamboo is a harder, more sustainable grass that is highly resistant to knife scarring and moisture. Cherry wood is a traditional hardwood that offers a richer, warmer aesthetic and is generally gentler on knife edges over time.

The board features an engraved design on one side, which is best suited for serving or display. The reverse side is smooth and flat, making it the ideal surface for daily chopping and food preparation.

The engraving is precise and shallow, designed to maintain the board's structural integrity while showcasing the artwork. While it is not intended for heavy-duty chopping directly over the design, it is easy to clean with a damp cloth or mild soap.

To preserve the wood, hand wash the board with warm water and mild soap, then dry it immediately. We recommend applying a food-safe mineral oil or beeswax conditioner every few months to prevent the wood from drying out or cracking.

The juice groove is a recessed channel running along the perimeter of the board. It effectively catches liquids from fruits, vegetables, or meats, preventing them from spilling onto your countertop during prep or serving.
