Hunters Specialties True Talker OG Deer Call

The True Talker OG is designed for intuitive use, but like any manual call, it benefits from practice. You can adjust the pitch and tone by changing your hand position and breath pressure, allowing you to mimic grunts, bleats, and snort-wheezes with a bit of trial and error.

While you can technically use both, they are intended to be used in sequence to build a realistic scenario. Most hunters use the rattling bag to simulate a fight or social interaction, then switch to the mouth call to mimic the vocalizations of the deer involved in that interaction.

It is most effective during the pre-rut and rut phases when deer are actively communicating and establishing dominance. While you can use it throughout the season, the sounds it produces are specifically tuned to attract bucks looking for social interaction or breeding opportunities.

You should occasionally rinse the call with warm water and mild soap to remove debris or saliva buildup. Always let it air dry completely before storing it in your pack to prevent moisture buildup or mold.

The rattling bag is designed to be compact, but it will make noise if it shifts around in your pack. It is best to secure it in an exterior pocket or wrap it in a soft cloth to prevent accidental clanking while you are walking to your stand.
