The keylock nose design eliminates the hook found on traditional carabiners, which prevents the gate from snagging on your rope, gear loops, or bolts during clipping and unclipping. It makes for a much smoother, frustration-free experience on the wall.

They are designed for both. The combination of the lightweight Dyneema slings and compact carabiners makes them ideal for alpine routes where every gram counts, while the ergonomic handling performs perfectly on steep sport climbs.

The protector keeps the lower carabiner in the correct orientation, preventing it from rotating or cross-loading during a fall. It also helps reduce wear on the sling itself and features a visual indicator so you can quickly confirm everything is set up correctly.

The ribbed texture provides extra friction for your fingers, making it easier to open the gate securely even when you are pumped or wearing gloves. It offers a more tactile, confident feel when you are making quick clips on difficult terrain.

While they are optimized for sport and alpine climbing, they can certainly be used for trad climbing. However, keep in mind that these are 12 cm draws; if you frequently climb wandering trad routes, you might eventually want to supplement these with longer alpine draws to reduce rope drag.
