The hard-anodized aluminum provides a solid base, but like all non-stick coatings, it is susceptible to scratching. To extend its lifespan, we recommend using only silicone or wooden utensils and avoiding abrasive scrubbers when cleaning.

It is sized for two people, but only if your meals are simple. The 1L pot capacity is tight for two, so you will likely need to boil water in batches if you are preparing large portions or multiple courses.
