You attach the decanter directly to the neck of your opened wine bottle. Once secured, you simply flip the entire unit over, allowing the wine to flow into the decanter while simultaneously aerating it through the specialized opening.

Yes, the design is fully reversible. If you prefer the look of the original label or need to store the remaining wine, you can flip the unit again to return the aerated wine back into the bottle.

It is designed primarily for red wines that benefit from aeration to open up their flavor profiles. While you can use it for any wine, it is most effective for full-bodied reds that need time to breathe.

The attachment mechanism is designed to fit most standard 750ml wine bottles. It may not be compatible with non-standard bottle shapes, such as some oversized or uniquely tapered sparkling wine bottles.

While the glass is durable, we recommend hand washing with warm water and a mild detergent to maintain the clarity of the glass and ensure the aeration mechanism remains free of residue.
