While it is designed as a touring ski, the TX93 W is versatile enough for resort use. Its lightweight construction makes it efficient for climbing, but the carbon-fiberglass reinforcement and stable sidecut provide enough dampening and edge hold to handle groomed runs comfortably.

The Hollowtech tip removes material from the shovel of the ski to reduce swing weight, which makes the ski feel much more nimble when initiating turns. It also acts as a dampener, helping to absorb vibrations and chatter when you are skiing on firm or variable snow.

The 93mm waist width and rocker/camber/rocker profile make this a true 'quiver-of-one' for touring. It provides enough float for soft backcountry powder while remaining narrow and responsive enough to handle tight, technical terrain or firm, icy conditions.

At 1275g (for the 170cm length), this ski is quite light, which significantly reduces fatigue on long uphill ascents. Despite the low weight, the Paulownia wood core and carbon-fiberglass layup ensure it doesn't feel flimsy or unstable on the descent.
