Korsteel Stirrups

The wider tread provides a larger, more stable platform for your foot compared to traditional, narrower stirrups. This increased surface area helps distribute your weight more evenly, which can significantly reduce fatigue and joint stress in your ankles and knees during longer rides.

These are designed as general-purpose stirrups. While they offer excellent stability for everyday training and flatwork, their lightweight aluminum construction is versatile enough for casual jumping, provided you prefer a standard stirrup style.

A 4.5-inch tread width is the standard size for most adult riding boots. It should provide ample room for a comfortable fit, but it is always a good idea to measure the widest part of your boot sole to ensure you have the recommended half-inch of clearance on either side for safety.

Aluminum is significantly lighter than stainless steel, which helps reduce the overall weight of your tack and can be less tiring for your horse. While aluminum is durable and strong, it is a softer metal than steel, so you may notice minor cosmetic scuffs over time with heavy use.

Because they are made of aluminum, they are naturally resistant to rust. To keep them looking their best, simply wipe them down with a damp cloth after use to remove dirt or sweat, and dry them thoroughly to maintain the polished finish.
