This fin is designed for traditional longboarding. It excels at classic, smooth maneuvers like noseriding and trimming down the line, rather than high-performance or aggressive turning.

The Yater Apocalypse uses a standard US Box system. As long as your longboard has a US Box center fin slot, this fin will be compatible.

Fiberglass offers a more solid, reliable flex pattern compared to plastic. It provides a stiffer, more predictable feel that holds its shape through turns, which is ideal for the stability required in traditional longboarding.

A 10-inch fin is a standard, versatile size for most longboards ranging from 9'0" to 10'0". If you are riding a shorter longboard or a mid-length, you might find this size creates too much drag, but for classic logs, it is the sweet spot for stability.
