This is strictly a fungo bat designed for coaching and practice sessions. It is engineered for hitting ground balls and pop-ups to players, not for taking full-swing cuts against live pitching in a game.

The Exo Armor hardcoat is designed to provide a protective shell against scratches and dents without significantly altering the natural feel of the maple wood. You will still get the solid feedback and performance expected from a high-quality maple bat.

Maple is a denser, harder wood than ash, which generally translates to better durability over time. For a fungo bat that sees hundreds of hits per practice, this density helps the bat resist flaking and splintering better than softer wood alternatives.

While the Exo Armor coating adds a layer of protection, it is still a wood bat. Avoid storing it in extreme temperatures or damp environments, and try to keep the barrel clean of dirt and debris to maintain the integrity of the finish.

Fungo bats are specifically balanced to be lighter and easier to swing repeatedly than standard game bats. The S345 is weighted to reduce arm fatigue, allowing coaches to hit balls for extended practice sessions without excessive strain.
