You will get excellent edge hold. The board features Magne-Traction, which adds serrated contact points along the edges to bite into hard, icy snow where traditional boards might slip.

It sits in the medium-to-firm range, rated 5-7. This provides enough stability for high-speed carving and charging through variable terrain while still offering enough pop for jumps and side hits.
