Yes, the Liv Adore is designed specifically for beginners. Its lightweight aluminum frame is easy for young riders to control, and the single-speed drivetrain removes the complexity of shifting gears so they can focus entirely on balance and steering.

The step-through frame design allows children to easily mount and dismount the bike without having to swing a leg over a high top tube. This provides extra confidence and safety, especially when they need to put their feet down quickly.

The Liv Adore does not come with training wheels included. It is designed for children who are ready to transition to a two-wheeler or are already comfortable balancing.

Some assembly is required, typically involving attaching the handlebars, pedals, and front wheel. If you are not comfortable with basic mechanical adjustments, we recommend having a local bike shop perform the final assembly to ensure everything is tightened and tuned correctly.

This model uses a coaster brake, which is operated by pedaling backward. This is often the most intuitive braking method for younger children who may not yet have the hand strength or coordination required for hand-operated caliper brakes.
