Mips stands for Multi-directional Impact Protection System. It is a low-friction layer inside the helmet that allows the shell to slide slightly during an angled impact, which helps reduce the rotational forces transferred to your brain.

The integrated mounting point is specifically designed to be compatible with the Smith Transit Light. While other lights might fit, we recommend using the Transit Light to ensure a secure, stable fit.

The helmet features specifically shaped vents that allow you to thread a standard U-lock through the shell. This lets you secure your helmet to your bike frame when you park, so you don't have to carry it around with you.

Yes, the visor is removable. It snaps on and off easily, allowing you to switch between a more casual look or a streamlined profile without affecting the internal fit or safety rating of the helmet.
