Volkl Peregrine Skis

The Peregrine is primarily a frontside, groomed-terrain ski. With an 80mm waist and full sidewall construction, it is designed to hold an edge on hardpack and corduroy rather than float in deep powder.

The 3D Radius Sidecut allows you to vary your turn shape easily. It uses a tighter radius underfoot for quick, short turns and longer radii at the tip and tail, giving you stability during long, high-speed arcs.

While the Peregrine is rated as stiff, it remains accessible for an ambitious intermediate. The Titanal construction provides dampening that helps smooth out vibrations, making it a predictable and confidence-inspiring ride as you progress toward expert-level carving.

The Marker Lowride bindings are compatible with GripWalk soles, which are standard on most modern alpine ski boots. If you are using older, traditional alpine soles, you should have a certified technician verify compatibility before use.

The carbon tips are engineered to be lightweight and responsive, which significantly improves turn initiation. This makes the ski feel quicker edge-to-edge, allowing you to engage your turn with less effort and more precision.

The two layers of Titanal act as a stabilizer, absorbing chatter and vibrations when you are skiing at higher speeds or on icy, uneven snow. It provides a damp, planted feel that keeps the ski glued to the snow, even when conditions get firm.
