Scarpa F1

The Scarpa F1 is designed specifically for TLT (tech) bindings. It is not compatible with standard alpine (DIN) bindings, so ensure your setup uses tech-compatible hardware.

The BOA Fit System provides a more uniform, micro-adjustable wrap around the forefoot, which helps eliminate pressure points. It allows you to dial in the exact tension you need without the bulk of traditional lower buckles.

While a 95 flex is considered moderate, the carbon-reinforced shell provides surprising torsional rigidity that punches above its weight class. It is ideal for backcountry touring and ski mountaineering, though aggressive chargers may find it softer than a dedicated freeride boot.

While it is technically possible, we strongly recommend having the Intuition Pro Flex Evo liner molded by a professional boot fitter. They have the specialized equipment to ensure a precise, custom fit that prevents hot spots and maximizes comfort.

At 1260g per boot, the F1 is exceptionally lightweight, which significantly reduces fatigue during long ascents and high-mileage days. You will notice the difference in your stride efficiency compared to heavier, more traditional touring boots.

The Vibram UFO Evo sole is designed for high traction on rocky ridges and icy transitions where you might need to boot-pack. It offers excellent grip and durability, making it a reliable choice for technical ski mountaineering objectives.
