Not exactly. This board is purpose-built for deep powder and soft snow conditions. While it can handle groomers, its directional shape and rocker profile are optimized for flotation and surf-like turns in the backcountry or on big storm days.

PFD stands for Powder Flotation Device. The board features 3D fenders and a boat-hull nose design, which helps the nose stay above the snow surface without needing to lean back aggressively. This allows for a more centered, relaxed stance while riding deep snow.

With a medium flex rating of 5-6, the Terra Pin is designed to be accessible rather than punishing. It offers enough responsiveness for intermediate to advanced riders to carve through trees and bowls without feeling overly demanding or rigid.

While the rocker profile provides a catch-free, surfy feel, Arbor includes Grip Tech—contact points underfoot—to help maintain edge hold. You will still get reliable grip on firmer snow, though it won't feel as locked-in as a traditional camber board.

The sintered base is porous and designed for speed and durability, but it requires regular waxing to perform at its best. If you let the base dry out, you will notice a significant drop in glide and speed.
