S&M Trackmark Tire

This tire is optimized for hard-packed dirt and paved surfaces. Its tread pattern is specifically designed to provide speed and grip on groomed BMX tracks rather than loose or muddy conditions.

The folding Kevlar bead significantly reduces rotational mass compared to traditional wire beads. This makes the wheel easier to accelerate, which is a key advantage when you are trying to shave seconds off your lap times.

While the tire is rated up to 110 psi, running it at lower pressures may compromise the stability of the race casing during high-speed cornering. We recommend experimenting within a reasonable range, but keep in mind it is engineered to perform best at higher pressures on firm surfaces.

The broken center tread is a deliberate design choice to balance rolling speed with traction. It allows the tire to accelerate quickly and bite into the surface during braking without adding the extra weight of a continuous, solid tread strip.

While you can technically ride it anywhere, the Trackmark is purpose-built for BMX racing. Its lightweight casing is optimized for speed and racing conditions, so it may not be as durable as a dedicated street tire if you are frequently doing grinds or heavy impact tricks.
