DEITY Speedtrap Saddle

The Speedtrap is designed for all-mountain riding, meaning it balances support for pedaling efficiency with enough comfort for longer trail sessions. While it uses mid-density EVA foam, keep in mind it lacks a pressure relief cutout, so comfort will depend on your personal preference for saddle shape.

The sides are reinforced with Kevlar, which is specifically chosen to resist tearing and abrasion during inevitable scrapes or crashes on the trail. It is a significant upgrade over standard synthetic covers for riders who ride hard and often.

D2 edge flex allows the edges of the saddle to move slightly with your body as you pedal. This helps prevent the saddle from feeling rigid or restrictive, allowing for a more natural, fluid pedal stroke.

Whether a cutout is necessary is highly subjective. Many riders prefer a solid top for better support and to prevent mud or water from spraying up through the saddle, while others find cutouts essential for pressure relief. If you have never had issues with numbness on solid saddles, you likely won't miss the cutout here.

At 241 grams, the Speedtrap is quite competitive for an all-mountain saddle. It strikes a solid balance between weight savings from the hollow chromoly rails and the durability required for rougher terrain.
