Steerg Ceiling Fan Downrod

This downrod features a standard 1-inch diameter, which is compatible with the vast majority of ceiling fans on the market. However, we recommend checking your fan's manual to confirm it accepts a standard 1-inch diameter rod before purchasing.

An unthreaded design means the rod does not screw directly into the fan housing. Instead, it is typically secured using a clevis pin and cotter pin system, which is the industry standard for most ceiling fans.

While the rod is made of durable metal, we do not recommend cutting it yourself. Altering the length can compromise the structural integrity of the rod and may void your warranty.

The matte black finish is designed to be versatile and neutral. While it pairs perfectly with black fixtures, it also creates a clean, modern contrast against white, brushed nickel, or bronze fan motors.

You generally only need basic household tools, such as a screwdriver and pliers, to secure the pin connections. Since the design is unthreaded, the installation process is straightforward and does not require specialized equipment.
