This filter is specifically designed for Vita Spas models requiring the PVT50WH cartridge. Before purchasing, verify your current filter's dimensions—specifically the 8.5-inch diameter and 7-inch length—and ensure your spa uses a 1.5-inch MPT threaded connection.

Microban protection is embedded directly into the filter media to inhibit the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew on the surface of the cartridge. While it doesn't replace the need for chemical sanitizers, it helps keep the filter cleaner for longer and prevents odors from developing.

The reinforced core provides structural integrity, preventing the filter from collapsing under the pressure of your spa's pump. This ensures consistent water flow and filtration performance throughout the entire lifespan of the cartridge.

While replacement frequency depends on your spa's usage and water chemistry, most manufacturers recommend replacing spa filters every 3 to 6 months. Since this is a four-pack, it is a convenient way to keep a fresh filter on hand for your next scheduled change.

You can extend the life of these filters by rinsing them periodically with a garden hose to remove loose debris. However, because they are made of polyester media, they will eventually lose their filtration efficiency and should be replaced rather than deep-cleaned indefinitely.
