While this bit is primarily engineered for artificial enhancements like acrylic, gel, silk, and fiberglass, it can be used for cleaning under the nail plate. However, it is generally too aggressive for direct use on the natural nail plate itself.

This bit is designed to be compatible with standard filing equipment, including all Medicool files and drills. It uses a standard shank size that fits most professional-grade electric nail files.

Carbide bits are known for their durability and efficiency in removing product quickly without generating excessive heat. Unlike diamond bits, which can sometimes clog with debris, carbide bits are designed to shave off material, making them ideal for shaping and debulking enhancements.

To keep your bit performing well, remove debris after each use with a wire brush. You should then disinfect it using an appropriate solution or an autoclave, ensuring it is completely dry before storage to prevent corrosion.
