The VoxCast is designed as an all-in-one solution with the webcam integrated into the housing. It is not intended to be used with external DSLRs or mirrorless cameras.

The semi-reflective glass is engineered to be transparent enough for the camera to capture a clear image while still reflecting your script. You may notice a very slight reduction in light transmission, which is why the built-in LED lighting is included to compensate and keep your video bright.

The included LED ring light is adjustable, allowing you to control the brightness levels to suit your room's ambient lighting conditions and ensure you look professional on camera.

The footprint is relatively compact, but because it sits in front of your screen, you will need enough desk depth to accommodate the base and the angled glass housing. Its collapsible design is its main advantage, allowing you to fold it flat into the included travel case when you are finished.

The hardware itself is plug-and-play for the camera and light, but you will need to use third-party teleprompter software on your computer to display and scroll your script on the screen behind the glass.
