Modern Blaze Fire Pit

While the fire pit features a weather-resistant finish, steel will naturally develop a patina over time when exposed to the elements. To extend the life of the finish and prevent excessive rust, we recommend covering the unit when not in use or storing it in a dry area during the off-season.

The safety screen is optional but highly recommended, especially if you have children, pets, or are placing the fire pit on a wooden deck. It effectively contains sparks and embers, providing an essential layer of protection without obstructing your view of the fire.

The integrated grate elevates the wood off the base of the fire pit, which allows oxygen to circulate underneath the logs. This increased airflow promotes a more complete, efficient burn and makes cleaning out the ash much easier once the fire has cooled.

Because this is a wood-burning unit that generates significant heat at the base, we advise against placing it directly on grass or wood surfaces. It is best used on non-combustible surfaces like stone, concrete, or brick pavers to prevent heat damage.

At 54 lbs for the 24-inch model, the fire pit is substantial enough to remain stable in typical outdoor conditions. However, if you live in an area with high winds, you may want to ensure it is placed on a level surface to maintain its stability.
