Natural dyes are inherently more delicate than synthetic alternatives. While the colors are vibrant, you should expect a gentle, lived-in softening of the hues over time, which is part of the textile's character. To preserve the color as long as possible, always wash in cold water and avoid direct, prolonged sunlight.

The best way to maintain the texture is to wash it on a cold, gentle cycle separately from other items. Because it is 100% cotton, we recommend laying it flat to dry rather than using a tumble dryer, which can cause shrinkage and wear down the fibers.

As with most 100% cotton textiles, minor shrinkage is possible after the first wash. We recommend following the care instructions strictly—cold water and air drying—to minimize this. If you are between table sizes, it is usually safer to size up.

Because each piece is hand-printed by artisans using traditional wooden blocks, slight variations in the pattern and color saturation are expected and celebrated. These small irregularities are not defects; they are the mark of a handmade item and ensure your tablecloth is truly one-of-a-kind.

It is designed for both. The 100% cotton weave is sturdy enough to withstand regular family meals, but the artisanal block print gives it an elevated aesthetic that works beautifully for festive gatherings. Just be mindful that natural dyes may be more susceptible to stubborn stains, so spot-treat spills promptly.
